Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Red Anjou Pear, Pistachio and Real Maple Syrup

 

Ingredients:

1lb of fresh Brussels sprouts trimmed and left whole
1/2 red onion thin sliced
1 red Anjou pear thin sliced
1 large handful unsalted raw pistachios
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Maple Syrup
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees..in a large mixing bowl add Brussels Sprout, onion, pear, pistachios , olive oil and drizzle with maple syrup..mix well..Season with salt and pepper…combine all onto a lined baking sheet with parchment paper and roast for approx 40 minutes mixing well at 20 minutes…Outsides of sprouts should be lightly charred when done…Remove from oven, drizzle with more maple syrup and reseason…Serve immediately…Enjoy.
